Above all else, I hope that this message finds you and your families well. As many of you know, North Carolina has announced the Safer at Home: Phase 2 guidelines gradually easing statewide restrictions. Under the new phased approach, DMJ offices will open to clients. While we are eager to visit with each one of you, please note that we will be following state and federal recommendations regarding capacity limitations and wellness protocols.
DMJ can successfully serve you remotely and we strongly encourage you to utilize our electronic document sharing tools like secure email, SafeSend, and DocuSign. In addition, our virtual calls and conferencing solutions remain a secure option for communication. Drop boxes remain outside most of our office locations and are available at any time.
As the July 15 tax deadline approaches, please provide us with your tax information as soon as possible to help us ease the workflow. DMJ team members are encouraged to be as proactive as possible during this extended busy season. It is paramount to us that you receive the same level of service that you are accustomed to without disruption. This is certainly an unprecedented time for us all and each day brings new and rapidly developing changes. If you have any concerns, please contact your partner-in-charge or any member of our firm leadership.
DMJ’s monthly newsletter and the resources page at dmj.com continues to be our best platform for daily updates, tax alerts, or interpretations of relief aid and other legislative matters. If you are not receiving the DMJ newsletter or tax alerts, please contact your DMJ professional or email firstname.lastname@example.org directly.
By working together with you, we are optimistic that we can preserve your safety and ours, and mitigate this risk together without further business disruption. Stay safe and well.
