DMJ Wins Most Money Earned at Polar Plunge for Special Olympics North Carolina!

GREENSBORO, NC- The Greensboro accounting and professional services firm of Davenport, Marvin, Joyce and Co., LLP (DMJ) earned the title of Most Money Earned at the 9th Annual Guilford County Sherriff’s Office Polar Plunge for Special Olympics on Saturday, February 21st at Wet N’ Wild Emerald Point in Greensboro. The company raised $8,585. Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) Doug McClenny, Bill Jones, and Brenda Wilner with Mandi Limmage of DMJ Wealth Advisors, LLC plunged into the pool water that was approximately 37 degrees. Haley Beeson, daughter of DMJ partner Dana Beeson and Special Olympics athlete, had the honors as the official “pusher” giving the DMJ team the incentive needed to dive into the water. DMJ has participated in the Polar Plunge for nine consecutive years earning the title “Most Money Raised” every year. DMJ is deeply committed to Special Olympics North Carolina and takes great pride in supporting their mission to provide more than 37,000 children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities the opportunity to train in more than twenty sports. Through the support of its clients and the community, DMJ was able to reach their aggressive fundraising goal another year.
