• Laurie D. Williams, CPA has been elected to serve a second consecutive term as chair of the N.C. Association of Certified Public Accountants Accounting Attestation Committee. Laurie Williams is Manager of DMJ's Burlington office.



• R. Milton Howell, III, CPA, CSEP has been elected to serve a second consecutive term as chair of the N.C. Association of Certified Public Accountants Tax Committee. Recently, Howell spoke before the North Carolina House of Representatives and the North Carolina Senate Finance Committee encouraging leaders to consider a repeal of the North Carolina gift tax system.
