Stacy Malmin West was born in Winona, Minnesota, but grew up in Maggie Valley, NC.  She attended Greensboro College, where she earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration & Economics and a minor in Japanese.  She later returned and earned a B.S. in Accounting.

Upon graduation, Stacy began her career in the audit department with Davenport, Marvin, Joyce & Co., L.L.P., in January 1996.  She was promoted to Audit Supervisor in 2003 and Audit Manager in 2004.

Stacy and her husband, Bill, enjoy spending time with their children, Zachary and Carly, and fixing up their home, traveling, and reading.
